For Dr. Mike Genslinger, good care starts with understanding what a patient wants to get back to—comfortable workdays, an active lifestyle, or simply moving with greater ease. A Naperville native with more than a decade of clinical experience, he brings that personal focus to his work at Renew Health & Wellness.
His clinical work includes spinal care, nerve-related discomfort, and joint and movement concerns. He considers how symptoms, physical function, and daily habits fit together, using each patient’s assessment to guide individualized recommendations. He takes time to explain his findings, answer questions, and review progress as care continues.
Dr. Mike earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from the National University of Health Sciences, following a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from the University of Wisconsin–Platteville. His background gives him a strong foundation in movement and reinforces his commitment to helping patients understand and participate in their care.
As the founder of Renew Health & Wellness, he has built his practice around attentive care and lasting relationships in the community he calls home. Outside the clinic, Mike enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife, Kristin, their children, Camden and Kora, and their dog, Gemma.
Kristin Genslinger brings more than 15 years of clinical experience across primary care, acute care, women’s health, and integrative medicine to Renew Health & Wellness. Her background informs an attentive approach to medical wellness and aesthetics, with careful assessment and patient education at the centre of her care.
Kristin takes time to understand what matters to each patient, whether they’re navigating changes in how they feel or exploring an aesthetic treatment. She listens closely, explains the available options, and develops recommendations around their health history, preferences, and goals.
In aesthetics, Kristin approaches treatment with precision and restraint. She considers facial structure, proportions, and movement when planning injectable treatments, focusing on subtle enhancements that complement a patient’s features. Her goal is a refreshed appearance that still feels like them.
Across her work, Kristin values open conversations and thoughtful follow-up. She wants patients to feel comfortable asking questions and understand what to expect before moving forward.
